I apologize as I'm sure this was asked previously, but Ian't find it. My question is this, how is Lerate iorpated into the tank rotation. As I just started tanking instaes and will be getting Lerate soon I want to use
it right. I'm hoping it the answer I need to improving my holding aggro. I tanked UB tonight and things went fairly well eept there were times I had trouble grabbing and hold aggro. Thanks in advae. Hakana
Assuming your
tanking 1 at a time and the rest areC'd, open with Mangle. Lerate, lerate, lerate, mangle. In that order. The 3 lerates are your attks while Mangle is ond. Use Maul when rage is above 50 or you know you wont go rage empty. Multi mob tanking substitute Lerate for swe sometimes and tab target the 2nd mob for a lerate every now and again. Mangle the main kill target till you have enough threat so you wont loss aggro then swih to next target. For pulling more than one use Starfire on X and swih to skull whileasting. Moonfire skull. Shift and do as above. When pulling feel free to pop Enrage. The extra rage helps. If you know you will be only
tanking 1 mob pop it and wait for the debuff to expire then pull. Or if survival isn't an issue fight with the debuff for extra rage.
Until WotLK,ookieutter feral sp has a few points to spare. I use them to get 33 Intensity. With Furor and Intensity, youan start every pull with a minimum of 40 rage. Rather than still have Enrage tking when the mobs get to me(and the 17% armor debuff that goes with it), I shift, pop Enrage, let it tk, and pull with FFF. If anythingrits, you have enough rage for 3 swes for tanking 2 or 3 targets. For single target pulls, 40 rage is enough to queue Maul, then Mangle, and Lerate. As for rotations,
use Lerate to fill in between Mangle. (Mangle, Lerate, Lerate, Lerate, Mangle...) Wah the mob for when FF and Demo Roar are about to expire, renew them in ple of a Lerate. I use Maul when I get over
40 Rage, but raid bosses hit harder bosses on hero and normal, so I'm never short on rage.
