Now that you don't need to not really sure.
That was my most used macro pre-patch. The only other ones I had were to feed my pet, and I think I had a pulling macro.
I
use Wardrobe addon for my equipment changes...so that's not really necessary.
I guess one that does your basic series of commands would be good.
example:
Sic pet >>cast hunter's mark >> (check if mana user or not) >> cast scorpid/viper sting accordingly >> cast arcane shot.
That would take care of what I do on each mob I fight....but it's a pretty simple process anyway. I also don't know if checking if a mob is a mana user or not is

Back into FFXI while waiting for FFXIVI've been working on my guide to macros for some time, and I want to know what kind of macros Hunters want or use so I can add them to my guide. (Scroll down towards the bottom of the first post for the Class-Specific Macros - and I'll crosspost the ones I have in this post as well.) What macros do you use? What macros do you _want_? I can take requests or just include the suggest macros, although I may clean them up slightly, and I'll give credit to your contributions. So... help me out!
At the moment I only have a very basic Aspect toggling macro, but I know damn sure there are others that you guys will use.

A
simple macro to 鈥榯oggle鈥?between two aspects. On first hit it will always cast the first aspect, but on repeated hits will toggle between the two. Handy for use with aspects you鈥檙e likely to cycle through (i.e. Hawk when at range, Monkey when in melee).
